Proprietors Phil & Julie Thomas have 4 teenage children and have been in the hotel trade for over 20 years taking over the guest house as there own in 2002, they pride themselves in giving excellent value for money and try to give there customers what they want, if you don't see what you fancy just ask and they will do there utmost to get it for you. Prices include a full English breakfast, vegetarians are also catered for.
The Times Hotel is the only guest house on Oystermouth road which offer evening meals including a children’s menu and are also one of the few hotels which cater for hen, stag & group bookings providing the group behave appropriately and consider the other guests. They have a fully licensed bar for you to have a quiet drink before going out should you decide to go into Swansea’s city centre to sample the excellent night life. While your having a drink we will book a taxi for you should you require one and there is no time limit for you to be back in by, you are supplied with your own set of key’s for you to come and go as you please. The hotel is ideally situated opposite the bay of Swansea and is only a short walk to the city centre and all local amenities, the university of Swansea and Singleton hospital is also just minutes away from the hotel as are the bus and train stations. The hotel has 14 bedrooms, 6 of which are En-Suite with three toilets and two bathroom/showers on the landings for guests in non En-Suite rooms. All the rooms are supplied with towels & soap and have tea, coffee and ironing facilities with hair driers and internet access via wi fi.
